FIRST MOVE, formerly known as the Great Yarmouth Centre For Unemployed and Unwaged, is part of the TUC Unemployed Workers Centre found across the country. Its objectives are to give advice, information, support and assistance to people who are unemployed and unwaged.

First Move is managed by a management committee, employing three full time staff & 2 part-time. Services provided at First Move are supported by a group of dedicated volunteers.

First Move is located in Nelson Drill Hall, Artillery Square. Heading south on Nelson Road, then turning into the Square is on the left just after the Albion Pub.

We are open:- Monday to Thursday from 0900 - 1600. Friday from 0900 - 1500.
